The recommended 10 stakes per person will be enough for:
1. Philmont issued tents
2. Philmont issued dining fly
3. Invisible Stake Monsters which inhabit the Philmont backcountry camps
and often make off with stakes as crews are preparing to break camp.
Stakes are for sale at the ToT Traders for $.25 each with no sales tax.
