>Just another thought for discussion -- How do troops maintain quality of
>uniform (and attitude) on the long trips?

Our troop took the train from South Bend through Chicago last year, and in
1999. We wore the crew shirts under the Uniform shirt. Class A's were
taken off after dinner and then put back on as we crossed the pass into New
Mexico. Everyone had their scout shorts on the entire time.

There were three crew on the train going out in '99. They assigned us all
to one car. On the way back home, they offered all scouts in uniform a
discounted breakfast special.
