[Philmont]: towels?

What kind, size of towel would anyone recommend? Seems to me, the towel out of the linen closet at home would be bulky and probably take forever to dry. The pack towels are a bit salty in price from what I've found. Are they worth it,and are their any other suggestions? Would a hand towel size work?
