Dear friends:

A pack towel is definitely the item to have for drying on the trail at
Philmont. The light weight, quick drying and compressible properties are what make
having the synthetic pack towel better than your average terry cloth piece.
Remember, you don't need a huge bath sheet size to do the job. 12X24 is large
enough to dry off most of the important stuff.

To take the sting out of the price, I can recommend Campmor or Sierra Trading
Post as two outlets with some reasonable prices ($5.50 for the small packtowl
in the Campmor catalog)
