I used a Coughlan pack towel from Wal Mart (cost a couple bucks) for the
trail. Got to shower twice, once at Abreu and once at Cimarroncito.
Humidity was so low I was airdry almost before I reached for my towel.
Strongly recommend cutting hair short-short-short for cooling and ease
of grooming--also your hair will dry much faster after showers (natural
and man-made), and you won't need to worry about not having enough towel
to dry it well. Two bandanas would have worked for me as well as the
towel.
