Towels,
I took a medium packtowel and it was plenty big enough.
However, for over 30 years, I have always carried a "sweat towel". This is
a standard military green hand towel. Picked up my first in Vietnam and
have had one slung through where the shoulder strap connects to the hip belt
since then.
I use it for a pillow, seat, shade, mosquito cover and sweat towel. Would
not leave home without it!
