[Philmont]: # of tents in a crew

Does anyone have any feedback concerning the number of tents allowed in a crew? We have 12 people in our crew, 9 youth and 3 adults. The problem comes in with one of our adult leadership that snores equal to/ worse than a chainsaw. No one is willing to bunk with him. He has no problem tenting by himself, but that leaves either 1 youth or 1 adult (me) to also tent alone. I originally planned to bunk with my son on the trail, and we do have 1 youth who is willing and really would rather tent alone. Regardless who tents alone in this situation, this creates 1 additional tent on the trek, with a total of 7. I don't know if Philmont would even allow a youth to tent alone if not abolutely necessary. Any comments?
