[Philmont]: Philmont Staffers

Since Calvin was generous enough to share information about some of his
people serving on staff, I thought I would also.

My son, Phillip Stuart will be working at Base Camp on the Activities staff.
He will participate on evening campfires, and other events at base camp. He
is an Eagle with several palms, Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow,
and a James E. West Fellow. He hopes there is an opening this summer in the
backcoutry so he can transfer into the mountains.

One of our Eagle Scouts will be the Camp Director at one of the climbing
camps this summer. I don't recall which one, it may be Cito. Evan Smithey is a
very sharp 21 year old man, and this will be his third year on backcountry
staff.

Cassie Plock is in our venture crew is 20 years old, and she will be working
at Crooked Creek. She has earned the bronze and silver venturing awards, and
is close to completing her ranger award. She has attended powderhorn
training, and has served as a youth member of woodbadge staff twice in our council.
This will be her second year on staff at Philmont.

Brandin Dawson will be working at base camp this summer also. He is another
one of our Eagles.

If you see any of these people this summer, tell them you heard about them
from Mister Clifton.
