[Philmont]: Sandals vs. other

I took a pair of very light Montrail shoes in '03. They were very light and
ok for use around camp. HOWEVER, I wish I had taken my Chaco sandals. They
have more support and would have allowed my feet to really dry each evening.
They would also have used less pack volume, very important with size 13's.
Any activity where closed toes are required, I would have used my boots. Once,
maybe twice, out of ten days?
