We had 4.5 Quarts per scout, plus 2 - 2.5 gallon bladders for the Clarks Fork
to Base Camp days on trek 5 in '03. Dinner for lunch. Barely enough.
Shaffers was dry. Had nearly emptied the bladders (drinking only from them) by the
time we hit Shaffers, as was previously mentioned. Same situation, although
not as hot and dry, going to Phillips. Don't skimp on the water! Camelbacks,
passing it around, let the hulks carry it, your choice. 4.5 per individual
is not enough in either case. Been there, done that. Please listen. You're
there for health and safety and this is both.
