I have also been told, (Can't quote from the book) that Philmont frowns on single hikers by themselves in a tent. Can't have it both ways. If there are an odd number of scouts or an odd number of adults, (or a number of odd adults), you need to have either 1 or 3 in a tent.

2004-621-D-5 Trek 4Bob Mack Said:621-d5 2004 trek 4.we brought 2 4man timberline a-frame tents for 3 scouts and 3 adults. It worked out that way because one scout and one adult were brothers. If it was in last year's book we must have missed it and still went out on the trail.------------------------------------------------------- Scouting E-mail Discussion Lists @ usscouts.org Subscribe/Unsubscribe at http://usscouts.org/lists/ Listserv Commands at http://usscouts.org/lists/lc.asp ------------------------------------------------------- Send listserv commands to: listserv@troop47.com Send postings to: philmont@troop47.com List FAQ found at: http://usscouts.org/lists/faq.asp List Administrator: philmont_owner@troop47.com ------------------------------------------------------- As you gather around this virtual campfire with fellow Scouts and Scouters, do your best to be trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and
