Here's a popular website:
http://www.freewebs.com/freezerbagcooking/index.htm. Good information, lots
of links.
For our Crew's Shakedown trip last weekend I made a couple recipes from
Backpacker magazine's "Backcountry Cooking" book. Everyone loved the Corn &
Seafood Chowder and Beef Burritos so much that we left the Mountain House
Chicken & Mashed Potatoes in our bear bags. ;^)
The book has a lot of great recipes, and excellent how-to advice.
YIS,
Mike

Subject: [Philmont]: Turkey bag cooking
Can you explain how your crew prepare the turkey bag cooking at Philmont?
Our troop is going later this year and wanted to see if we should use this
method.
