WM makes a wider bag. The Mitylite is 62" rated at 40 F. Fortunately I can
fit into an ultralight long. The temp ratings at WM are conservative. I
sleep cold and I was warm down to 25 with the 25 F rating. Check out there
website. I compared it to the Marmots and didn't like the partial zipper.
The full zip on the WM really helps on those warm, humid nights.

Subject: [Philmont]: Marmot Atom or Hydrogen ?
I am looking for a new bag... both of these are on my short list..
I am looking for some input from owners as to the actual weight and warmth
of each bag.
Any other comments or recommendations are welcome.
I want a 30 to 40degree bag (not quilt or top bag) in the 16-22 oz
range....OK here's the hard part, it has to be at least 62" at the
shoulders... I'm to broad for a 59" WM bag.
I was already to go for the Atom until I read a poster's comments on another
forum that quoted the Atom at 20 ozs. for the regular, thats 4 ozs. over the
stated weight of 16ozs.
That would be ok, but if the Hydrogen is actually 21 ozs. as advertised, I
would be better off to carry the Hydrogen, for 10 degrees more warmth and
only 1oz more weight.
Thanks for your advice.
