[Philmont]: Tarp

We took a large parachute for the first few treks. Then, we had two crews.
Bought the 12' by 16' nylon tarp at Campmor. Great idea. Heavy, maybe, but
room for all. Used a center line. "NO ATTACHING TO TREES" ranger said. Used
walking sticks. Last trek, use the nested poles (again Campmor) and that was
even better. No discounting the value of a large shelter at Philmont.

To each his own. This works so well for us that we have replaced the
parachute with another tarp and set of poles.
