Minor irritation here, folks.
Can we please stop clicking "Yes" to those Philmont list server posters who's e-mails ask for a return receipt? It serves no purpose on the board and every person on the list server (perhaps in the thousands) gets a useless e-mail to delete. I'd be willing to bet that most e-mails that ask for a return receipt originate at the sender's workplace and is a part of their everyday business correspondence. I'm sure the sender doesn't need verification that every member of the Philmont list server actually opened his or her post.
I know it's not a big deal, but when you get a box that says words to the affect of, "The sender has requested a return receipt. Do you want to send one?" Just click "NO". Thanks.
