Our troop sells and delivers bag mulch to neighbors, stacked on their
driveway, as our annual fundraiser. Scouts going to summer camp or on high
adventure trips spread it for those who are willing to pay an extra $2.50
per bag. Proceeds from the sale/delivery go to the troop, while proceeds
from the spreading go to the scouts. Because of the volume of mulch that we
sell here in the Washington DC suburbs, the scouts can defray a sizeable
portion of their costs if they're willing to work. Our troop tag line has
become "Thank you very mulch!"
Bit late in the season for this year, but might be something to consider for
subsequent years.

Does anyone have a good fundraiser that they used to raise some $ for the
Phil
Trek? Its getting awful pricey, especially if you come from either coast
Thanks
