Our town is blessed with many car dealerships. On Saturdays most of the
dealerships buy lunch for their sales personnel. Our troop takes orders for
300 dinners from the dealerships about six months in advance. Then we cook
300 BBQ chicken dinners, and deliver them to the dealerships. Our cost is
$2.50/plate and they sell for $6.00/plate. Includes half a chicken,
sausage, salad, and bread. We could do this every weekend if we wanted. If
we coordinate with WalMart to cook the chicken at one of the local stores we
can sell WalMart customers, as well. Then WalMart made a donation to the
troop matching our sales for the day, but limited to $500. Each store
manager set his/her donation amount.

Does anyone have a good fundraiser that they used to raise some $ for the
Phil
Trek? Its getting awful pricey, especially if you come from either coast
Thanks
