RE: [Philmont]: Creature Comfort

I have a knock off of the crazy creek (adventurer line). I used it on a
backpack this weekend up into the mountains.
It was real nice to have, and the weight was insignificant compared to the
benefits (to me). I tend to be on the lightweight side for backpacking, and
rarely give in to extra comforts for extra weight, but it sure was worth it
to me.

I put it in my (internal frame) backpack next to the frame. It didnt really
make a difference with the rigid back, but if I was still using an external
frame (now why would anyone do that?) it would be a nice way to keep the
pokies from annoying me:-)
