Well, I'll ignore Don Roberts shot at we external frame guys, as I
worked with an internal for 2 years before going back external and being
much happier. Don, it's a technique.

Phil Brown makes a great point about the sleeping pad-thingy-that turns
it into a chair. One spill and you're sleeping on a smellable. Doesn't
seem prudent.

I gave up my Crazy Creek knock-off after 5 days on the AT. My old knees
didn't like the getting up and down required to use one of those. Our
kids love them, though. I got the Byer Tri-ite (link follows) and
really enjoyed being up, off the ground. I missed having a back rest,
but at 22oz., it's not bad and it rolls up and snaps in along with my
sleeping bag at the bottom of my External Frame Pack, as if anyone would
want in internal frame. Jkjkjklol just teasing, Don.
