[philmont] Suggest a tent

You can always use the Philmont tents and avoid this cost. For someone
that is buying a tent for Philmont and the shakedowns prior, I like the
Alps Mistique 2 (www.alpsmountaineering.com). Bought through
www.scoutdirect.com <http://www.scoutdirect.com/> it is $88. It is a
very good tent for the money and more than adequate for Philmont. We
had two in our crew the last time I went to Philmont and through some
terrible storms both at the ranch and on a shakedown, they remained bone
dry inside.

I'm sure everybody has a favorite tent to take to Philmont. Nephew is
going to Philmont in Aug, 2008 with a Council contingent. In order to
avoid a huge amount of money going out all at once I'm trying to buy him
gear a piece at a time.
 
Right now I'm pricing tents. Suggestions? Favorites?
