[philmont] Suggest a tent

Kelty Gunnison 2 person tent.

All of the features of the REI half dome with a better rain fly (and Kelty backing the tent!).

I cannot back up the ALPS tents. Our Troop just bought 15 of them for camping and the poles are not very sturdy. The first time they were set up (Camporee 2 weeks ago) we had some wind (20 mph sustained - gusts to 30). The tents WERE properly staked and guyed and we had bent poles on EVERY tent.

I've camped at Philmont in 60mph wind gusts. The Alps won't take it if the poles are the same as the tents we got. My Gunnison laughed at the wind.

The boys have been specifically advised that bringing their own tent is preferable.

Use the free one from Philmont, they have worked great for years.
