Here is a link that has a pretty big list of tents and their basic stats. Lots of pictures - you might need broadband.

BTW I have been using my ALPS 1.5 Taurus with aluminum poles for about a year. Held up well in 30 mph winds and in torrential rains. The only thing I would do differently is to not buy the footprint and use either silnylon or Tyvek homewrap instead. Even though it says it is a 1.5 man tent, I am able to sleep comfortably in it with the other woman advisor that will be going to Philmont this summer. At 4.5 lbs it is freestanding and there are no pole sleeves - the external clips go up very fast. I just wish it had a bigger vestibule.

I put together my own Excel spreadsheet with all the tents that seemed to be adequate for Philmont. Contact me off list if you would like a copy.
