[philmont] Positive Influence

 
 
My daughter's first visit to Philmont was in 2004 at age 9, while I was
taking a course at PTC. The PTC staff took her out in the backcountry several
times, and she fell in love. She is waiting for the 14 y/o mark to join our
crew.

important thing in it. Allison at age 11 decided to become a Venturer and go
to Philmont based solely on that visit and the way she was treated by Scouts
she never met before and Philmont staff she never knew before that. Pass
this on to your Scouts that what they do while going to the ranch, while at
Philmont and on the return trip will influence many people.
