Willie,
I suggest you have it dry mounted at a picture framing store. They'll mount it on foam board exactly the way you want it. Size might be a problem depending on whether or not you crop the maps to fit.
As I'm typing, I'm looking at my matted and framed overall map of Philmont. It puts a smile on my face that will be renewed (I hope) in 2010.

I want to mount my Philmont maps on plywood or other suitable backing to
hang on the wall. I plan on combining the old north and central maps,
splicing them together, and tracing the two treks I've done in marker.
A long time ago I remember trying to mount a map (not a Phil-map) using
3M spray mount with terrible results.
Does anyone have any experience and ideas to share?
Thanks
