Thank you for your respect. Not sure I am due it but I accept it. 'Tis a two way street.
I only bought my Crocs because 1) my old hard(er) soled camp shoes had seen better days, 2) I ran across the "no-hole" version on sale and 3) I had just enough left on a Christmas gift card to get them for no cash out of my pocket. I would not have bought them had all three events not met with opportunity.
I love them! I use them as gravel bar camp shoes when doing multi-day trips on the Buffalo River as well as camp shoes after a log day on the trail. No, I would not have the "holey" version.
I feel a need to add a caveat: Some here know that I am involved with the Philmont Staff Association (PSA) to varying degrees depending on the years in question. That being said, I do not speak with any authority as to Philmont rules and regulations. My opinions are my won.
