[philmont] cooking stuff

Evening all,

As I peruse the Philmont food menu it occurred to me that bringing a 20 cup
coffee pot with lid would suffice nicely to provide hot water to
reconstitute the meals. Boil the water in the coffee pot and then easily
pour it into bags to reconstitute it. I have a 10 man crew, most of the
meals call for 2 cups of water per serving bag.

Then the other pot can be used for dish water.

Then I can pack spice jars inside of the pot during hiking.

Anyone bring coffee pot to use for food prep water?

Jim Z
