Steve,
My view is that using Thorns, Roses, and Buds daily and having everyone in
the group have a chance to speak his/her mind works very effectively at
Philmont. I have been very impressed with what the youth members have
thought about and share with the rest of the group. The youth get to be the
center of focus and the adults are best advisors in the background. I'd say
to think carefully about having Scoutmaster's Minutes on the trail.
