I have more adults who wanted to go than we have slots for. I have been
there before so I keep myself off of the list. We have an all rookie crew
going. Every adult going wishes that there was one veteran going, but they
do one bad enough to take themselves off of the crew.
The way we do it is to choose the adult team. Their sons then get added to
the list first. Then it goes by how long scouts have been in the
troop. Rank is the tie breaker where two scouts started together. But all
of that is not important this time. We had twelve slots and three adults
and nine youth signed up.
