At Philmont we used Peak1 stoves without problems. Met people there w/the
Powermax stoves & had to buy one when we got home. I love it. Works
instantly in cold and high altitude. When you're cold and want something
hot, it surely beats waiting for a whisperlite to prime (& it simmers).
Philmont stocks the fuel so you don't have to mail your fuel bottles ahead
of your trip & worry that they have arrived or not.
Online Campmor sells the "xtreme" for $59.97 (#85218); though they don't
list it in the paper catalogue.
