Can't be done. A slot cannot be given, sold or traded to another crew.
The unused slot MUST be turned back to Philmont and they give it to the next
crew on the waiting list.
What it amounts to is it is Philmont's slot to distrubute, not the crew that
can't use it. They did so with the first crew. If they can't use it, then
it goes back to Philmont for redistribution.
Last year a slot appeared on eBay adn that caused a real hue and cry and the
offending crew leader got a firm but nice letter saying "NO".
As a footnote, I can't imagine a crew having a slot that they can't fill.
People wait years to get that chance.
