Our experience was this:
We got through the busy signal several times only to get an operator
(recorded) who advised us that 1) all circuits are busy and to try again
later, or 2) you need to dial a 1 plus the area code.... Of course we
were dialing a 1 and all the other required digits. We are adults and
know how to place a call for gosh sakes!
It was incredibly frustrating to get an actual ring but to then be shut
down w/ an error message.
A quick call to the Ranch to verify that we were indeed calling the
correct number and to alert them to what we were getting. All we were
told is that 'other' crews are getting in so there must not be a problem.
There is nothing the Ranch could do to help. In other words, it's your
problem not ours. After speaking to the Ranch we did keep trying only to
get the same results.
My question is did anyone else experience the same thing? Ultimately we
gave up after two hours knowing that we would not get it.
