I believe another of those points is to be "Thrifty". When I open my email box in the morning I have 40-50 emails from this group and many of them are saying the same things. I don't have time to read them all and find myself deleting them unread. I could very well be deleting a response that has 'some real' information. I'm not saying that one should not put in his (or her) 2 cents worth. All I'm asking is that many times dead horses are being beaten and it takes away from the real effectiveness and purpose of this group.
Thank You again.

Subject: Re: [Philmont] - Whining
Please, enough about the talent release! I got it on the first response. I have seen that a couple of people have unsubscribed because of the rhetoric. I am close also. I think if you have something 'new' to say, say it. Else wait for the next question or topic.
Thank You.
One of the cardinal points (12 of them in the Scout Law) of Scouting is no whining. It falls under "A Scout is kind".
Redundancy on lists is just a part of the territory. Control of other's thoughts and what they write is not a desireable trait for a list member.
Patience is a virtue that a list member must possess to remain sane.
An eraser is built on the end of all pencils. The delete key is present on all keyboards......use it to sooth one's nerves.
When all else fails, unsubscribe......lists are not for everybody.
Sometimes one just has to pick up one's toys and go home.
However, one might just miss something interesting.
One never knows when the gusto will arrive.
Some people stay at a movie to read the last line of the credits because they are important to them.
Some people leave a movie just as the credit lines start to roll by.
Some people leave half way through the movie.
And some people don't even know there are still movies.
Make your choice, the decision is yours.
