I am a big advocate of "turkey bag" cooking and our crew did it at Philmont in 2002. Essentially with Philmonts food, you are not cooking, you are hydrating. Put dry food in bag, put bag in dry pot, add boiling water, seal bag, add 3-5 minutes to recommended time, eat, clean personal gear, go to program.
We started the week "cooking" in the bags because that was how we practiced, but it was really unnecessary.
