I've been to Philmont twice, and there have been some troops who did wear
Class A for travel and some who wore a crew shirt.

To get to Philmont, We traveled and slept on the train from San
Diego-------a 24 hour trip. The 50/50 polo style shirt looked dressy, but
was comfortable to sleep in, and their Class A didn't get all wrinkled into
a ball. The crew vote on the color and they picked a forest green.
