I am the Contingent leader for our 9 boys and 3 adults. Can anyone give
me suggestions on how to help our boys and myself prepare. First timer
and have wanted to go since I was a Scout myself. I can't wait!!!
What temperature rating for a sleeping bag would be most suitable for
Philmont in the month of June (we start the first week)?
Raingear - Gore-Tex, vinyl, poly, rubber, rainsuits, ponchos?? What is
acceptable and what will not work.
Smellables - the large Zip-Loc bags, will they work to store your
sleeping clothes and keep them relatively scent free?
Photos - Digital photos or digital video camera?
I know i'm being somewhat vague, but I'm trying to learn now to pass on
info to the boys. And learn as much as I can to make this a great
experience for us all.
Thanks for your responses in advance. (more questions to come)
YiS,
Anthony Helpenstell
