[Philmont]: Backpacks

Apparently Philmont will rent external framed packs. I have 2 adults that
are considering renting. Has anyone had an experience with these packs?
Condition? Size? Comfort? I would think that if they are available at Philmont,
they would be big enough, and in 10 day useage condition, but don't want to find
out otherwise once we get there. Anyone shed light on this?
