[Philmont]: New Registration Procedure

I am somewhat surprised at the lack of discussion about the new registration
procedure.
Anyway, after waiting for the rest of the country, the western region was
allowed to make its entries last week. Of course, this week is the "open"
week.

I was disappointed that we were not allowed to prioritize our dates. At
least they had some "any dates in X" options to make it easier to enter, but
we have a definite preference for later over earlier, and there was no way
to say that June was less desirable than August for us.

I know, it's new, it's beta, but then the initial design tends to get
preserved. I was also disappointed there was no place to comment on the
procedure so they can learn where it has room for improvement. Still, I do
think it is better than the old call in procedure.

Any other thoughts out there?
