[Philmont]: Re: New Registration Procedure

As one who had been very critical of the telephone call in system since it
began back in 1993, I believe the new registration system is much, much
better than the old system. Here are several reasons why I like the new
system better than the previous one:

# 1 - It is much fairer as it doesn't give an advantage to those who have
the latest in telephone technology.

# 2 - It doesn't require wasting thousands of hours on call in day as the
old system did.

# 3 - It was easy to enter which arrival dates were acceptable, and I
received confirmation that my registration had been entered.

# 4 - It doesn't cause negative feelings toward Philmont or the BSA as the
old system did.

# 5 - Another sign that the BSA is finally embracing technology.

# 6 - No need to write additional letters asking Philmont to adopt a better
system.

# 7 - And finally...much lower blood pressure! :-)

YiS,
