However, that does absolutely nothing positive for the insulation factor of your sleeping bag. In our case, we hit a couple of 32- 35 degree nights on and around Mt Phillips. I wouldn't even want to think about a damp to wet bag. It rained every day we were there last summer, and also took every opportunity to dry out our bags, tents and equipment before the next rain fall. Normally that is why it is a goodd idea to put on dry clothing before retiring into the sack. Just food for thought.
