NO, I do not believe that your unit's past history is taken into account
when filling the treks.

I TOO think that would be an important item to factor in.

My troop hasn't gotten a crew since 1999, I was on redial for 2 hours and 30
minutes in April 1997 to get that reservation, it was on a TUESDAY too. I
believe that might be the OLDest "phone in" system.

3 from my troop tried calling in FALL 2001 to get a 2003 trek ended up #369
on the wait list, didn't get in. We ended up filling part of a Council
contingent, a good experience but not like fill a crew with your own troop.

Used the NEW computer lottery system FALL 2003 for 2005, thinking that in a
Jamboree year our chances would be better, NO Luck. We ended up #1453 on
the wait list, went to Northern Tier in Bissett, Manitoba instead.

I'm hoping that our luck will change, Since we haven't had a TROOP crew
since 1999.
I wish it made a differrence.
