Bob,
Our Council has a summary of one crew's experience plus some "pearls of wisdom" posted on the web page. Go to http://www.boyscouts-ncac.org/pages/218_council_high_adventure_committee.cfm and scroll down to "LEARN MORE ABOUT HIGH ADVENTURE PROGRAMS," where you can click to download the document. Hope you find it useful.

Subject: [Philmont]: Double H?
Haven't seen much in the way of experiences or opinions of the Double H ranch. Sure would like to hear what crews thoughts of that opportunity. If we don't get a pick for 2007, we almost have to go to Double H, as a lot of our prospective crew will be heading to college, and may not be as available or flexible after that. I hear 7 days is the max at Dbl H. Does that seem short, or was it plenty of time? In 04, 10 days at Philmont was just about right the boys said. Any feed back would be great!
