We are hoping to be able to convince our Council to issue a special shoulder
patch for our Philmont contingent and then use patch sales to raise money to
purchase (or help offset the purchase of) the equipment (tents and
stoves/bottles) for our contingent. Does anyone else out there have any
experience with this? Has their council issued a trek or contingent
shoulder patch? If so, do you have an image, or can point me to an url that
shows it? Thanks. YIS. Mike ('76, '02, '04 and hopefully, '07)

We have used this design since (at least) the mid/late 90's (when we were
Morris Sussex Area). It is produced in only one version, though I know
other councils have use variations of their design for participants and
non-participants, etc.
