Nope. Each area has its own set of regs and we can't expect a council office to maintain them all. The requirement really falls on the adult and youth planner to contact the area and determine the rules that will impact their unit. For example, in the Shenandoah National Park (SNP) you must have a backcountry permit with you. Your group must be 10 or less, you cannot have an open fire (darn, no big campfires with roasting marshmellows!!!) unless you are at an improved campground or shelter, and you cannot camp within site of a trail or another group. The rules may sound very restrictive, but the SNP is trying to handle the number of folks in the backcountry so that everyone has a good experience.
