RE: [Philmont]: Tooth of Time Traders - Custom Crew T-shirts

While I agree with Shane that the prices are a bit high, they aren't way out and for a crew that wants a shirt but doesn't have the bandwidth to create a design and work eith a shirt shop they offer an alternative, albeit at a premium price. Its nice to see TOTT branching out, for years you could get stuff ... but only if you tried real hard. Its obvious that they are approaching it as a business, with a real web presence and a real catalog with products geared to their target market.

Other alternatives include www.customink.com (Great service, great price ... used them for our Camporee Staff shirts) or www.classb.com (Haven't used them)

I would suggest that you look around for your crew shirts. The prices listed in the catalog are a bit steep. I designed our shirt (front and back design) and found a screen printer in the area that worked with us on the process. We purchased both cotton shirts and wicking shirts. The cotton shirts cost about $8.00 each and the wicking shirts were about $13.00 each.

You can see the design at http://home.comcast.net/~445philmont/2005philmonthome.htm.

It is a very nice catalog though. If they just had that new Crazy Creek sling light knock off with a Philmont logo...

Just in time for the holiday shopping season, I got my new Tooth of Time Traders catalog in the mail today. This edition is a full-size catalog with a great design and a huge selection – they’ve really come a long ways in the short time since they’ve redone the whole catalog. I haven’t looked through the whole thing yet, but I noticed one new thing they are doing is offering custom crew t-shirts. There are a number of designs available and you can choose from either moisture-wicking or cotton shirts. The prices seem pretty reasonable too.
