[Philmont] Autumn Adventure versus Philmont Training Center

Good afternoon.

I want advice on the advantages and disadvantages of participating in
training at the Philmont Training Center, versus backpacking on an adults
only Autumn Adventure group.

I have the opportunity to attend the Philmont Training Center next year. I
am also considering participating in the Autumn Adventure. I do not wish to
do both next year.

My wife will go with me. She enjoys backpacking and is a troop committee
member. I have been to Philmont three times with summer crews, but my wife
has never been there, not even for a visit.
