[Philmont] Autumn Adventure versus Philmont Training Center

Depends on what you would like to accomplish. A PTC program has the
advantage that you are working with Scouters from all over the country
focusing on the topic of the conference. Much less time to be on the
trail. Autumn adventure gives you a full trek experience and you can
discuss Scouting issues with your trek mates, but a lot of your time
is spent doing the trek.

You commit more time to doing both back to back but consider it
carefully as you will already be paying to get to Philmont and
returning home. If you do PTC and AA back to back you save the
additional travel costs when you do them separately.

Good luck.
