[Philmont] Hook Up

As many of you know I have a lot of friends/clients in the Outdoor Industry.
I was sitting in the office of one of them the other day and looked to my
left and saw webbing for belts with Philmont and other BSA insignia woven
into the belt. I then noticed several other camps that were the same color
scheme as the Philmont belts and were pretty neat. Of course I jumped all
over this and asked a lot of questions.

Philmont woven belts are made by this company. If another council contacts
them, they can put the council name, contingent name or camp name into the
weave instead of Philmont. It is too expensive for most councils to order
their own run of webbing, you have to order several thousand yards. But you
can jump on the end of the Philmont run. You will have belts that look like
Philmont's to wear at Philmont with your contingent, or council name on the
belt. I thought it was pretty neat idea for the company to make this
opportunity available.

If anyone is interested in talking to the company about this contact Dawn
Homyak at dawn@bisondesigns.com. The owner is an eagle scout and does a lot
of BSA work. This is an opportunity to get something special made besides a
t-shirt for a camp, council or a contingent without having to by 50 belts
per person.

I'm not getting a dime off this deal. Just passing on a pretty neat idea and
opportunity.
