John is back with us, probably after spending considerable time hunting
Bambi's relatives near Ozona TX.
There are two ways to avoid the train noise in Clovis:
1. Stay in a back room in one of the many motels along the highway which
runs parallel to the railroad tracks.
2. Stay in a motel in another area of the town.
You may have a similar problem if you elect to stay in Fort Sumner (as my
wife and I have for the past two years on the way to Philmont) but you can
avoid that by requesting a room at the back of the Super 8 Motel.
In case you missed either score:

Aggies 38 Longhorns 30
Friday was a good day for maroon & white.
Back to the football.
