something we have forgotten to mention is that our guide worked ar Rich Cabins during the summer. she took us ther efor a visit and to her delight, the garden she so lovingly planted in June had finally matured and produced by October. She/se harvested, cooked and ate fresh corn and squash from her garden. It doesn't get much better than that in the back country now does it?
