Lemme see if I got this right. The Aggies beat the Longhorns so they pressured their coach to resign. Only at A & M do they do things like that.
And speaking aof football, a Calvin reports John and Susans alma mater has never lost a football game in this century simply because they bowed out of playing football in 1989.
The latest news is that football might retorn to Lamar. This spring the students get to vote on whether to raise their fees to pay for it. And I really don't care because by then my youngest daughter will have graduated.
My oldest daughter who is the graduate assistant for the band, when asked commented "not my problem" because she graduates with ehr maters this spring too. Sliding out in the nick of time.
My only dismay as to railroads is that it is not feasable to ride the rail from Beaumont, Texas to Philmont. If it were, that's the way I'd go.
